10 high wind windsurfing spots

It’s been a long hard slog through winter here in the UK – particularly the latter half. With air temperatures barely hitting double figures and a distinct lack of breeze, anyone with a penchant for windy activities would have felt severely let down by Mother Nature.

The last few weeks has seen a return to milder weather and a regular blow – windsurfing is officially back ‘on’ in the UK!

For many, the start of spring signals the beginning of the new windsurfing season and to get you all in the mood here’s a roundup of 10 high wind destinations – some of which may offer the perfect antidote to the next bout of cold weather, which is hopefully some time off…i.e not until next winter…
